The Six Nations Championship is Europe’s biggest annual rugby tournament, featuring Ireland, France, England, Scotland, Wales, and Italy. Teams play five matches each across February and March, earning points for wins and bonus tries, with the top team winning the title. The Six Nations 2026 is slightly shorter than usual this year, with one rest week removed. Ireland’s fixtures in 2026 include three home games and two away games.
So far in the championship Ireland are rebuilding momentum after a tough opening loss to France in Paris. At the weekend Ireland had a narrow but important win in Dublin over Italy to get points on the board.
Ireland will go to England this weekend – 21st of February and then host two home games:
Ireland v Wales – 6th of March
Ireland v Scotland – 14th of March
